Adana il sınırları içindeki bir çok kale gibi hakkında fazla bilgi bulunmayan Dumlu Kalesi, Adana'nın Ceyhan ilçesine 17 kilometre uzaklıkta olan İmamoğlu ilçesine giderken Sağkaya beldesinden önce varılan Tumlu Köyü'nün sınırları içindedir.
75 metre yüksekliğindeki kalkerli bir tepe üzerinde kurulmuştur. Çukurova'daki "dağ kaleleri" zincirinin ikinci halkası olan Dumlu Kalesi, Adana-Kozan kervan yolunu gözetleyebilecek ve çevresindeki birçok kaleyle iletişim sağlamaya elverişli bir konumdadır. Çevresi 800 metre olan Dumlu Kalesi'nin at nalı şeklinde 8 burcu vardır. Kaleye giriş kuzeydedir. Kuzey tarafta kayaların düzeltilmesiyle oluşturulmuş merdiven izleri yer yer fark edilmektedir. Ayrıca iç kısımda 3 adet yan giriş mevcuttur.
Dumlu Kalesi
Dumlu Kalesi'ninn ovaya bakan doğu köşesinde bir gözetleme kulesi ve savunma hendekleri ile surlar bulunmaktadır. Kalenin içinde 3 adet su sarnıcı mevcuttur. Kalenin doğu, güney ve kuzey kısımları baştan başa tonozlu yapılarla birbirine bağlantılıdır. Düzgün kesme taşlardan yapılmış olan Dumlu Kalesi ortaçağa ait olup, inşası 11 ya da 12. yüzyıla tarihlenir.
